What do we need to bring? All of the beds have quilts and pillows. There are additional blankets in the closets. There is a waterproof/germ barrier covering on each bed that will be sanitized before you arrive. You will need sheets and towels.
What about parking? There is parking for three cars at Bayview. Please refer to the Beach House Notes. For beach parking Centre, Engleside and Coral are your best bet. There are also public lots near Bay Village and on Taylor Avenue.
Do we need beach badges? Yes. we supply 8 beach badges. Beach badges are required from June 15 through Labor Day. Children under 12 are free. Adults 65 and older are free, but they must have a specially designated permanent badge issued to them.
What time is check-in? Check-in is at 4pm, and check-out is at 11am.
Is there a washer and dryer in the unit? Yes, the laundry room is on the top floor off the kitchen.
How about air conditioning? Yes, there are 2 units each serving two floors.
Is there a blender in the kitchen? Of course! As well as a microwave, dishwasher, toaster and full-size oven. The kitchen is fully equipped.
What type of coffee pot? We have a K Cup pot on the counter and a drip coffee pot in the closet. There is also a bean grinder and a frother.
Is there a Bay beach? Because of development, the bayside has no real beach. There is a kiddie beach located on the bay at Taylor Avenue and a play area and basketball court. Beach badges are required. A part-time lifeguard is usually there during peak hours.
What about our dog? There is an "unofficial" dog beach near Bay Village behind the Beach Club townhouses near the basketball court. Dogs there are friendly but are off-leash, so pay attention. There is an open field on Bay Avenue and Pearl Street near the tennis courts. Great for some frisbee time!
